LombaSkin Back Support Belt for Optimal Lumbar Support

The LombaSkin back support belt is an elastic lumbar brace that provides compression and stabilization of the lumbar spine. It is designed to relieve non-specific low back pain and provide support, including when resuming physical activity. The belt is intended to be worn next to the skin and features a breathable, elastic Combitex fabric.

The design consists of abdominal panels with Velcro straps and finger pockets, as well as moldable back stays. Together, these parts allow you to position the belt around the waist and adjust the tightness.

Support through compression

The LombaSkin back support belt supports the lumbar spine by increasing intra-abdominal pressure. This can help relieve the intervertebral discs and stabilize the spine during use.

The abdominal panels are tightened evenly and fastened with Velcro. The compression can be adjusted as needed throughout the day.

Breathable Combitex fabric and moldable back stays

The elastic Combitex fabric is designed to be breathable. The textile parts contain polyamide, polyester, elastane, polyurethane, and acrylic resin. The other components consist of brushed tempered steel, polyoxymethylene, polypropylene, and polyethylene.

The back stays are moldable to be adapted to the contour of the back. The finger pockets on the abdominal panels make it easier to tighten the belt.

Indications
The LombaSkin back support belt is used for non-specific low back pain in acute, subacute, or chronic stages. Other indicated areas of use include preventing recurrent low back pain in connection with resuming activity, as well as support for spinal stenosis.

Measurement and size selection
Measure the waist circumference halfway between the iliac crests and the lower free ribs. Compare the measurement with the size chart before choosing a version.

Application and adjustment
Place the belt around your waist with the back stays on either side of the spine. Insert your hands into the finger pockets, pull the abdominal panels evenly forward, and fasten the right side over the left. The lower part of the belt should be aligned with the base of the spine. Adjust the compression as needed.

Do not use the support directly on damaged skin or while sleeping.

Washing and care
Close the Velcro straps before washing. The belt can be machine washed on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 °C, but no more than 15 times per month. Do not use fabric softener, harsh detergents, or bleach. Squeeze out the water and let the belt dry flat, protected from direct heat. Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.
