We do not accept products where the design, material, condition, or other circumstances prevent adequate cleaning and disinfection. The product must also not have damage or defects that make it unsuitable for continued use.

Make assistive devices accessible to more people

How the value is assessed
The original price paid for the assistive device is not the same as the product's current value or the price that VI HP can offer. The original price typically included VAT, and the previously paid VAT cannot be transferred to VI HP when the product is sold by a private individual.
When you want to sell a used assistive device, VI HP makes an individual assessment of the product and the material you submit.
In its assessment, VI HP considers, among other things:

Any offer may therefore be significantly lower than the price the seller originally paid for the product.

Read all information before submitting your case. Then, fill out the form carefully and provide complete and accurate information about the product, its condition, functions, and any damage or defects.
The form should be submitted along with clear images and, when necessary, a video showing the product and its functions. Clear and accurate information enables VI HP to conduct a fair and correct assessment.
VI HP does not collect the product from the seller. If the product is to be shipped to VI HP, the seller is responsible for shipping it to us and for packaging it in an appropriate and secure manner.

Loaned assistive devices must be returned
VI HP only accepts assistive devices that the seller owns themselves. We do not accept assistive devices that have been loaned or prescribed as a loan by a municipality, region, healthcare center, hospital, or assistive device center.
A loaned assistive device belongs to the organization that issued it and therefore cannot be sold or donated to VI HP. When the assistive device is no longer needed, it must be returned to the responsible municipality, region, or assistive device center. If you are unsure who owns the assistive device, you should check the product's labeling and contact your prescriber, municipality, or region before filling out the form for VI HP.
Sell or donate your assistive device
You can offer your assistive device to VI HP by selling or donating it. VI HP will make an initial assessment based on the product's condition and the information and material submitted.
