Bed rail with support legs – Height-adjustable support

The bed rail with support legs is a height-adjustable support for adults who need an extra grip point at the bedside. It can make it easier to sit down on or get up from the bed and is intended to help reduce the risk of falling out of bed. The design features a steel frame, two adjustable support legs, and a safety strap that keeps the rail in place under the mattress. A fabric cover with storage pockets and a small tray are included.

Support at the bedside

The bed rail with support legs has a wide, fabric-covered upper section that provides a clear boundary at the bedside and can be used for support during transfers. It is not a full-length rail and must not be used as a backrest. The user should not place their full body weight on the rail.

Adjustable height and fit

The rail has three settings on the upper section and eight height positions on the support legs. The feet can be fine-tuned by up to 3 cm to ensure they stand firmly and vertically against the floor. The total height is stated in the manual's dimension drawing as approximately 82–105.5 cm.

Anchoring under the mattress
The L-shaped frame is slid under the mattress. An adjustable strap with a metal stop is tightened against the opposite side of the mattress to keep the construction in place. The bed rail with support legs can be mounted on either side of the bed.

Check the bed dimensions
The model is intended for bed frames with a height of 26–50 cm, excluding the mattress. The safety strap is adapted for mattress widths of 90–180 cm, and the manual specifies a mattress thickness of 10–35 cm. Check that the bed's design allows for correct attachment before use.

Storage pockets and tray
The fabric cover has two pockets for small items, such as glasses or a remote control. The small tray can be used to set down light items at the bedside. These details are not intended as support surfaces for the body.

Safety during use
The bed rail with support legs is intended for adults and must be used with the fabric cover attached. Regularly check that the safety strap is tightened, the support legs are positioned correctly, and that there are no gaps that could pose a risk of entrapment. Do not use two rails next to each other on the same side of the bed.

Cleaning and maintenance
The steel frame can be wiped with a damp cloth. The polyester fabric cover can be hand-washed. Check that all locking buttons and parts are functional and that no components are damaged.
