Ramp for wheelchairs and walkers

The wheelchair and rollator ramp is an aluminum ramp that facilitates passage over small steps, curbs, and other level differences. The ramp has a slip-resistant surface, reflective markings along the sides, and mounting holes for anchoring to the ground. Passage over steps and curbs

The wheelchair and rollator ramp creates a sloped transition between two levels. It can be used where, for example, a wheelchair or rollator needs to pass a ledge, provided that the dimensions of the assistive device and the conditions of use are suitable for the ramp's width and slope. Always check the level difference and the space around the passage before installation.

Slip-resistant surface and clear edges

The top of the ramp has a black, slip-resistant coating that provides better contact with the wheels. On both sides, there are reflective markings and yellow-black edge markings that make the ramp's edges easier to notice. The surface must be kept clean and must not be used if it has become damaged or slippery.

The ramp has a depth of 60 cm and a width of 81 cm. Its own structural height is 4.5 cm, while the specified step height that the ramp is intended to bridge is between 7 and 15 cm. The aluminum construction weighs approximately 6 kg and has a maximum load capacity of 272 kg, including the assistive device and the user.

Installation with anchoring
The wheelchair and rollator ramp must be positioned so that it rests firmly against a solid and stable surface on both levels. It then needs to be anchored through the marked mounting holes. Screws are included, but suitable plugs and fastening materials may be needed depending on the surface. Installation is not tool-free.

Inspection before use
Before each passage, check that the ramp is securely fastened and cannot shift. Also, ensure that wheels or other parts of the assistive device cannot get stuck in the edges. The slope must be appropriate for the user and the specific assistive device, especially when a wheelchair is being used.

Cleaning and storage
Clean the surface with a damp cloth and soap. Avoid corrosive cleaning agents and check the anchoring regularly. The wheelchair and rollator ramp is not intended for permanent outdoor use.
