Button and zipper aid

The button and zipper aid is a practical two-in-one tool that makes it easier to button buttons and open or close zippers. At one end, there is a thin metal loop that catches the button and pulls it through the buttonhole. At the other end, there is a hook for the zipper pull. The thick, easy-to-grip handle can facilitate dressing for people who have difficulty handling small buttons and zippers with their fingers.

Two functions in the same aid

The button and zipper aid combines a button hook and a zipper pull. It allows the same tool to be used for items such as shirts, cardigans, jackets, and other garments with buttons or zippers. The simple design requires neither batteries nor adjustments.

Button and unbutton buttons

Pass the metal loop through the buttonhole and catch the button. Then, carefully pull the button through the hole using the handle. To unbutton, perform the same steps in reverse order. The thin loop is designed to be passed through buttonholes without the fingers needing to grip the button directly.

Open and close zippers
The C-shaped metal hook is threaded through the hole in the zipper's pull tab. You can then pull the handle upwards or downwards to close or open the zipper. The hook can also be used for zippers on items such as bags, backpacks, and boots, provided the design of the pull tab allows it.

Thick and easy-to-grip handle
The button and zipper aid has a black polypropylene handle with a textured surface. The handle is approximately 2.5 cm thick and provides a larger gripping surface than small buttons and standard zipper tabs. The tool is easy to store in a drawer or together with other dressing aids.

Material and care
The button loop is made of stainless steel and the zipper hook of iron. Wipe the aid with a cloth if necessary; it should not be washed with water. Regularly check that the metal ends and the handle are not damaged.
