Pressure-relieving seat cushion – seat raiser

The pressure-relieving seat cushion is a square seat cushion that combines pressure relief with an elevating function. It is made with a core of visco-injected polyurethane that shapes itself to the body and helps distribute the load when sitting. The cushion can be used on, for example, a chair, in a sofa, or in a wheelchair. It has a black, removable cover that can be washed.

Pressure relief during longer periods of sitting

When sitting for a long time, the load can become concentrated on certain parts of the body. The cushion's viscoelastic material adapts to the person sitting and helps distribute the pressure across the seating surface. Extra seat height that facilitates standing up

The cushion is 8 cm high and provides a higher seating surface when placed on a chair or sofa. The extra height can make it easier to move from sitting to standing, especially when a low seat is considered inconvenient. How much difference it makes depends on the design of the furniture and the user's circumstances.

Malleable polyurethane core

The pressure-relieving seat cushion has a core of 80D visco-injected polyurethane. The material is designed to follow the body's shape and provide a more adapted seating surface. The square shape and dimensions of 42 × 42 cm make it easy to compare the cushion with the dimensions of the seat where it is to be used.

Removable and washable cover

The black PU cover can be removed for cleaning. This makes it easier to keep the cushion clean during regular use. When the cover needs refreshing, it can be removed without the entire cushion needing to be handled in the same way.

For different seating areas

The cushion can be used in a wheelchair, on a regular chair, or in a sofa, provided that the dimensions fit and that it sits securely. The maximum load is 125 kg. Check in particular that a higher seat height works on the seat in question and does not affect the ability to sit safely.
