Fungera - Rehab with care
Fungera offers rehabilitation with care and is a rehabilitation clinic in central Gothenburg. The practice encompasses physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and individually tailored interventions based on the patient's needs, circumstances, and goals. The clinic is staffed by licensed professionals with experience in supporting individuals of all ages and with varying needs.
Rehabilitation is planned based on the patient's current situation, functional ability, and goals. The clinic works with both short-term and long-term issues, adapting interventions to how the conditions affect mobility, activity, and daily life. Patients receive information about assessment, treatment, and follow-up as part of the rehabilitation process.
Rehabilitation with physiotherapy and occupational therapy
Fungera offers physiotherapy for people with various types of musculoskeletal issues. The licensed physiotherapists work with, among other things, back, neck, shoulder, foot, knee, and hip problems, as well as sports injuries, balance issues, headaches, and certain neurological conditions.
Treatment is adapted to the patient's individual needs and may vary depending on the assessment made during the consultation. Interventions may include various forms of exercise, counseling, and rehabilitation depending on the patient's situation and circumstances.
Occupational therapy is also an important part of the practice. Occupational therapists help people with reduced activity levels to carry out daily activities. This may include hand rehabilitation, assistive device assessment, and strategies for dealing with cognitive fatigue and stress-related difficulties.
Individual assessment and treatment
At Fungera, rehabilitation begins with an individual assessment of the patient's condition, circumstances, and goals. The assessment forms the basis for planning further rehabilitation and determining which interventions may be appropriate.
Because needs and circumstances vary between individuals, treatment is adapted to the individual situation. Follow-up is part of the process and can be used to assess progress and adjust treatment if necessary.
Book an appointment
To book an appointment, patients contact the clinic directly. No referral is required for visits within Vårdval Rehab (Choice of Rehab). Medical questions, assessments, treatments, and patient data are handled directly by the clinic through their own systems. VI HP AB is not involved in the care and does not handle patient records or medical matters.
Group-based rehabilitation
Fungera also offers group-based rehabilitation. Group activities may cover areas such as balance, osteoarthritis, physical activity, training, and recovery. The appropriate form of rehabilitation is determined based on the patient's individual needs and circumstances.
The healthcare staff can subsequently adapt the interventions and, if necessary, adjust the approach during the course of the rehabilitation. Available groups and activities may vary over time, and the clinic provides current information.
Vårdval Rehab (Choice of Rehab)
The clinic operates within the framework of Vårdval Rehab and follows the rules and guidelines for rehabilitation set by the Västra Götaland region. Patient fees and high-cost protection apply according to current regional regulations.
