The clinic has a mandate from the region and works in accordance with healthcare routines. Patient fees and high-cost protection apply according to current regional regulations. All bookings, treatments, and patient contact are handled directly in the clinic's own systems. VI HP AB does not manage patient records or medical information.

Physiotherapy and rehabilitation

Active Rehab offers physiotherapy for both acute injuries and long-term issues. The physiotherapists work in several areas and can assist patients with foot problems, sports injuries, dizziness, balance problems, pregnancy-related issues, as well as cardiac and neurological conditions, among others.

The practice also includes methods and interventions such as acupuncture, physical activity on prescription, the McKenzie method, TENS, shockwave therapy, and ultrasound diagnostics. The clinic also offers urgent appointments and works with, among other things, an osteoarthritis school, the Axelina program, and pediatric physiotherapy. The appropriate treatment or form of rehabilitation is determined following an individual assessment of the patient's issues and needs.

Occupational therapy and neuro-care team

Occupational therapists offer support to people who have reduced activity capacity and need help to manage everyday activities. Interventions may include hand rehabilitation, assistive device trials, support for brain fatigue, and rehabilitation for mental illness and stress. Home visits and video calls may also be included depending on the patient's needs.

Active Rehab also has a neuro-care team for team rehabilitation for neurological conditions such as stroke, MS, and Parkinson's. Rehabilitation can take place at home, in the local environment, or at the clinic and may involve a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and speech therapist. Interventions are planned based on individual rehabilitation goals.

Group-based rehabilitation programs

The clinic offers several forms of group-based rehabilitation. The range may include an osteoarthritis school, pool training, balance school, fatigue school, COPD school, medi-yoga, mindfulness, pain school, sleep school, and stress school. There are also training groups focused on mental health and groups for seniors.

After completing rehabilitation, there is the option to continue with certain health promotion activities. According to their information, Active Rehab offers, among other things, 10-session gym cards and Swedish classic massage. Current terms and availability should be checked directly with the clinic.

Booking an appointment

You can contact the clinic directly to book an appointment without a referral. Bookings, patient matters, and medical questions are handled by Active Rehab through the clinic's own contact channels. Patient matters can be handled via telephone or 1177.

If a need is not covered by the public supply, private purchase may be an alternative. VI HP AB then offers information and advice on relevant assistive devices. VI HP also accepts requisitions within the Region Stockholm "Free choice of assistive devices" program for products covered by a valid requisition.

VI HP AB offers assistive devices, rehab products, and ergonomic solutions for various needs. The assortment includes, among other things, rollators, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, crutches, canes, shower chairs, toilet seat raisers, anti-slip devices, reachers, seat cushions, orthoses, support products, as well as products for training, rehabilitation, and personal care.

VI HP has a physical store in Hisingen, Gothenburg, and a webshop with delivery throughout Sweden as well as to Denmark, Norway, and Finland. The range is aimed at private individuals, healthcare personnel, companies, municipalities, and other organizations.
