Ligaflex Rhizo thumb brace – Support for thumb osteoarthritis

The Ligaflex Rhizo thumb brace is a stabilizing thumb orthosis that provides support for thumb osteoarthritis (rhizarthrosis) and for pain or injury in the thumb. A metal wire reinforcement helps stabilize the thumb, while two adjustable Velcro straps help customize the fit. The orthosis features an airy textile construction and a foam-lined interior.

Stabilization for thumb complaints

The support is intended for the stabilization of the thumb and can be used when the thumb's movements need to be restricted. The Ligaflex Rhizo thumb brace is specifically intended for thumb osteoarthritis and immobilization in the event of pain or trauma to the thumb.

Reinforcement with metal wires

The stabilizing part consists of stainless steel wires. The reinforcement provides rigidity to the orthosis and is a central part of the design.

Adjustable Velcro straps
Two Velcro straps make it possible to adjust the support around the wrist and thumb. The straps also facilitate application and allow the fit to be customized to the hand.

Airy and padded interior
The orthosis features airy fabric and foam padding on the inside. The textile materials are polyamide, polyester, elastane, and polyurethane. The anthracite gray color provides a discreet look.

Application and placement
Open the wrist straps and insert your thumb into the orthosis. Adjust the wrist strap first and then the strap around the thumb. Place the black seam in the middle of the palm. The straps should provide stability without hindering blood circulation.

Use for thumb osteoarthritis
The Ligaflex Rhizo thumb brace can be used as a stabilizing support for rhizarthrosis or when the thumb needs to be kept still due to pain or trauma. Do not use the orthosis directly on damaged skin or in the event of a known allergy to any of the ingredients.

Cleaning and care
Close the Velcro straps before washing. Machine wash on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 °C. Avoid strong detergents, fabric softeners, and chlorine-based products. Press out the water and let air dry protected from direct heat. Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.
