Personal alarm system

The personal alarm system is a wireless alarm system consisting of an alarm unit and a portable SOS button to signal the need for help. The system is activated by pressing the SOS button, which triggers an audible signal in the receiver unit. The product is intended for use in a home environment where quick attention is needed.

Construction and function

The personal alarm system consists of a receiver unit that connects to a power outlet and a wireless SOS button with a lanyard. The system communicates via radio frequency and activates a selected signal when used. The receiver unit has 52 melodies and 4 volume levels that can be adjusted as needed. An LED indicator shows when the unit is active.

Installation

The receiver unit is placed within range and connected to a power outlet. The unit is activated by holding down the volume button until the LED indicator lights up. Then, a melody can be selected and saved. The SOS button comes pre-paired but can be re-paired if needed according to instructions.

Usage

If needed, press the SOS button, which activates an audible signal and light indication on the receiver unit. The sound plays according to the selected melody and stops when the melody ends. To repeat the signal, press the button again. The system works within the specified range between the units.

Function and safety

The product is intended for indoor use and should be protected from moisture. The units should not be opened. Cleaning is done with a dry cloth without chemicals. For longer periods of non-use, the receiver should be unplugged and the battery removed from the SOS button.
