Cast Protector for Short Leg

This short leg cast protector is a reusable and waterproof cover that helps keep casts, bandages, and dressings on the lower leg dry during showering. The silicone should be handled with care. Sharp edges on the cast, jewelry, and other pointed objects can damage the material and impair the protector's watertightness.

The protector measures 40 x 60 cm and is intended for casts or bandages on the ankle and lower leg up to the knee. Check the measurements before ordering to ensure the entire cast fits within the sleeve.

The short model is not suitable when the cast extends above the knee. For a longer cast, a cover designed for the entire leg is required.

The short leg cast protector can be used during the rehabilitation period when the cast needs to be kept dry. The product is reusable and can be used for each shower.

Application and cleaning

Carefully guide the leg through the opening and pull the sleeve over the cast or bandage. Ensure the entire area is covered and the opening lies flat against the skin. If necessary, another person can help hold the opening stretched.

Remove the cover immediately after showering and check that the cast is dry. Wipe the product clean and let it air dry completely before storage. Store it in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight, heat, and sharp objects.

Check the sleeve and opening before each use. Do not use the product if the material has holes, cracks, or other damage.
