The rollator with shopping bag is a walking aid with four solid wheels, brakes, a seat, and a backrest. The integrated bag has two storage modes and can be used for groceries and personal belongings. Height-adjustable handles and retractable wheels make it possible to adapt the rollator for walking and storage, respectively.

Function and use

The rollator is intended to provide support when walking on even and level surfaces. The user walks behind the aid and holds the handles. The bag is positioned under the seat so that items can be transported without needing to hang extra bags on the handles.

Shopping bag with two volumes

The bag holds 28 liters in the folded position and 80 liters when unfolded. To expand the space, lift the seat and unfold the bag. The opening features a drawstring that helps keep the contents secure. The bag can be detached by opening the Velcro fasteners on the sides.

Seat and backrest

The integrated seat measures 39.5 × 32 cm and has a seat height of 52 cm. The backrest provides support when resting. The rollator with shopping bag must only be used as a seat when the parking brake is engaged and the rollator is on an even, level surface. It must not be used as a wheelchair or transport chair.

Height-adjustable handles

The handle height can be adjusted between 83 and 93 cm in five fixed positions. Both handles must be set to the same height, and the locking pins must be fully visible in the holes. The lowest usable setting is the second hole from the bottom; the bottom hole is only a reference point and must not be used for locking.

Driving brake and parking brake

The cable-operated brakes have two functions. Pull the brake handles upwards to brake while walking. Push them downwards until they lock to engage the parking brake. Check the function of the brakes before each use.

Retractable wheels

The rollator with shopping bag has front and rear wheels that can be retracted to reduce the space required. In its compact state, it measures 70 × 55 × 47 cm. The frame is not foldable like a traditional foldable rollator. Before using it again, ensure all wheels are fully extended and properly secured.

Material and cleaning

The frame is made of aluminum, and other documented materials are plastic and nylon fabric. Clean the rollator with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or steam cleaners. Regularly check the wheels, brakes, handles, locking pins, seat, backrest, and bag.

Safe use

The rollator with shopping bag should not be used if any parts are loose, damaged, or significantly worn. Avoid steep slopes, heavily uneven surfaces, and sharp turns. Do not hang extra bags on the handles, as stability may be affected. Check that nuts and fasteners are secure before use.
