LigaFlex Finger Size 1 is an orthopedic finger orthosis developed to stabilize fingers and wrist in case of sprains, fractures or after surgical treatment. The orthosis provides controlled fixation and relief for the second, third or fourth finger, while the design allows for adaptation to the hand's anatomy for improved comfort and stability during use.

Function and use

The orthosis is used for sprains, dislocations, fractures and postoperative stabilization of fingers. The design allows the model to be used both dorsally and volarly depending on treatment needs. The aluminum part can be shaped in flexion or extension to create the desired position during rehabilitation and healing.

Stability and compression

The moldable aluminum part provides stable fixation and allows for individual adjustment to the hand's movement and position. Four adjustable straps, two fixed and two removable, contribute to even pressure distribution and secure fixation without restricting blood circulation. The design is developed to provide stability while maintaining comfort during extended use.

Material and comfort

LigaFlex Finger Size 1 is made of polyamide, elastane, ethylene vinyl acetate, polyethylene, polyester and aluminum. The material combination provides low weight and stable construction while the textile surface contributes to ventilation and comfort against the skin. The orthosis is developed for daily use and can be machine washed at 30 °C.

Construction and fit

The orthosis has an anatomically adapted construction with a moldable aluminum part that can be adjusted to the hand's needs. The model is bilateral and can be used on both the right and left hand. The construction is developed to provide secure fixation and flexible use for various types of finger-related injuries and rehabilitation.
