Rent a wheelchair for one week - Foldable

Renting a wheelchair for a week is a practical option when a foldable wheelchair is needed for a consecutive period. The wheelchair has a stable construction of aluminium and steel, large rear wheels, as well as foldable armrests and footrests. It can be used both indoors and outdoors and can be propelled using the handrims or pushed by an attendant. The foldable design makes the wheelchair easier to transport and store.

Rental period of 7 days

When renting a wheelchair for a week, you choose the day you want to pick up the wheelchair. The pickup day is not counted as one of the 7 rental days. The rental period begins the day after pickup and then covers 7 full days.

Once the 7 rental days have passed, the wheelchair must be returned the following day between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

Example: If the wheelchair is picked up on a Tuesday, the 7 rental days apply from Wednesday through the following Tuesday. The wheelchair must then be returned on Wednesday between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, which is the 8:th day after pickup.

Booking and pickup in Gothenburg

Renting a wheelchair for a week is booked via vihp.se. Choose your desired pickup date and select the "Pick up in store" option at checkout. Please also specify your desired pickup time in the order notes so that the handover can be scheduled.

Pickup and return take place only at VI HP's store at Byalagsgatan 13A, 418 74 Gothenburg. Delivery is not offered for wheelchair rentals.

Cancellation and changes

Cancellation or changes to the booking can be made no later than 24 hours before the booked pickup time. In case of cancellation on the same day the wheelchair is to be picked up, no refund is offered.

Foldable design

The wheelchair can be folded to approximately 92 × 29 × 80 cm and weighs 17.5 kg. The seat measures 46 × 40 cm and the maximum user weight is 113 kg. Renting a wheelchair for a week includes a foldable wheelchair with foldable armrests, foldable footrests, a rear pocket, and a waist belt.

Large rear wheels for manual use

The rear wheels have a diameter of 62 cm and make it possible to propel the wheelchair using the handrims. The front wheels have a diameter of 20 cm. The wheelchair can also be pushed by an attendant.
