This cover is used during showers, in the rain, and in other everyday situations where it is crucial to protect the cast against water and moisture. The extended design allows it to fit both long casts and larger bandages without needing to fit tightly against the dressing.

The product construction consists of a flexible silicone sleeve and a sturdy polypropylene ring. This ring ensures that the opening maintains its shape, while the silicone forms a tight seal around the leg. The long waterproof leg cast cover requires no tape, glue, or other accessories to attach, making it very easy to use as it can be easily put on and taken off without the need for tools.

Waterproof and airtight construction

The airtight construction is specifically developed to minimize the risk of water penetrating through the opening, provided it is used correctly. The inner opening conforms to the leg and creates a tight seal, allowing the spacious sleeve to effectively protect the cast or bandage across the entire leg.

The cover measures 40 × 110 cm and has a ring diameter of 23 cm. The inner opening measures 8 cm and is designed to stretch when applied to the leg. The material quickly returns to its original shape and seals tightly around the leg after use.

Easy use for showering and rain

To use the cover, carefully insert the leg through the opening until the entire cast or bandage is completely covered. Check that the silicone lies evenly around the leg and that no edges of the dressing are visible. The long waterproof leg cast cover can then be used undisturbed during showers or short-term exposure to rain.

It is important to note that the product is not intended for bathing, swimming, or total submersion in water. Furthermore, one should avoid exposing the opening to powerful water jets for longer periods. When the cover is no longer needed, it is removed carefully to avoid damaging the cast or dressing.

Flexible and reusable material

The silicone sleeve is flexible and provides room for various types of long casts and bandages, making the cover practical and easy to handle. The structure of the material also contributes to ensuring that the seal is maintained during repeated use.

The product is easy to clean by simply wiping it with a damp cloth. Let it air dry completely before folding it up and storing it. Remember to always check the condition of the silicone and the ring before each use to ensure it is intact and free from cracks or damage that may affect its function.

Technical specifications

Area of use: Cast or bandage above the knee or over the entire leg
Dimensions: 40 × 110 cm
Ring diameter: 23 cm
Inner opening: 8 cm
Sleeve material: Silicone
Ring material: Polypropylene
Design: Airtight and waterproof
Closure: Elastic opening without tape or glue
Reusable: Yes
Usage: Shower and protection against rain
Submersion in water: No
Cleaning: Wipe clean and air dry

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0939/1718/4373/files/1143_skydd-for-gipsat-ben-lang_e5aca4d1-f062-4c47-a1a6-77b315c67772.jpg?v=1787568843
